Securing equal opportunity and protecting the most vulnerable among us from repression and discrimination is in Shane’s DNA.
After earning an undergraduate degree in Political Science, Shane obtained a Master's degree in Public Policy, but he didn't end his quest there. Deciding that the law is the most impactful vehicle to achieve justice for clients who have been casualties of discrimination, harassment, and unfair business practices, Shane went onto to the UCLA School of Law, where he was the Chief Articles Editor of the Journal of International Law and Foreign Affairs.
A seasoned attorney who has worked for a boutique civil rights law firm in Los Angeles and a consumer class action firm in the Bay Area, you can say that Shane’s carefully choreographed path and honed values have led him to the perfect home of Peretz & Associates.
Since 2017, Shane has taken the charge in a wide variety of practice areas for our firm, including wage and hour class actions, employment misclassification, discrimination, retaliation, harassment, wrongful termination cases, and construction defect cases, as well as private contract/business disputes.
That’s a mouthful, but it boils down to our firm’s core philosophy that people should be treated respectfully, fairly, and with dignity. When that equation is upset, Shane is within arm’s reach to redress the injustice, whether in the forums of state and federal courts, the appellate process, or more close-knit arbitration venues. He has secured a long litany of client successes and we highlight some notable ones here.
